This motet is Richard Proulx’s arrangement of Joseph Noyon’s Maître de Chapelle de Saint-Honoré d’Eylau à Paris. It is unclear if this copy manuscript was ever published. Proulx wrote two versions. Both include brass, organ, choral, and timpani parts. Version A, however, is written for 3 trumpets and 3 trombones; whereas version B has only 2 trumpets and 2 trombones.

Included in this file is a manuscript of music to be played by a harpist (it indicates there is a 5 measure organ introduction, 4 refrains, and 3 verses). Also in this file there is a sketch of what appears to be an organ accompaniment for the refrains, though it contains no music for an introduction or verse accompaniment. Jesu, dulcis memoria Motet composed for the choristers of St. Paul Cathedral by Leonard Smith (ca. 1980); Faux-bourdon (vs.3) by Richard Proulx.

Proulx used Leonard Smith's music for verses 1 and 2 and then wrote the third verse in faux-bourdon style himself. It is unclear if this motet has ever been published.
